Why should the kids have all the fun on Halloween?? Let’s whip up a SPOOKY little cocktail and join them, shall we?!
The countdown is on folks! Two weeks until Halloween! Are your costumes ready? Have you loaded up on candy? You haven’t eaten it already have you?!
Perhaps you need a little libation to get you in the spirit? Well, have no fear, I’ve got us covered this year with a little help from my friends at Powell & Mahoney Craft Cocktail Mixers.
I’ve been dying to share this Vampire’s Venom Cocktail for weeks! When P&M contacted me and asked me to create a Halloween cocktail, they asked me to come up with a creative name and something to get everyone pumped for the holiday. I wanted something deep and dark red, so their Classic Cosmopolitan Mixer with a touch of pomegranate juice would be perfect.
I knew I’d have to up my cocktail game though. It had to be something special, so I decided on purchasing some dry ice. Now the dry ice is totally optional, but highly recommended. It totally upped the spooky factor. It was my first time using it, and it worked like a charm. I just read some tips HERE and it was easy peasy. Just make sure you wait for the dry ice to totally melt before enjoying the cocktail.
So the Vampire’s Venom is a festive name for a Pomegranate Cosmopolitan. And Powell & Mahoney’s Classic Cosmopolitan Mixer makes it the easiest Halloween cocktail to pull off for your big party or as a little reward after hours of trick or treating with the kiddos!! It’s not called Trick or Treating for nothin’ folks!
Just pop on over to Powell & Mahoney to grab the recipe! Enjoy!
I have nothing ready for Halloween yet but at least I know what we’ll be drinking now! This is so cool!
First things first! Now that you’ve got the cocktail down, it’ll be way easier to proceed with the other details! Lol!

The dry ice caught my eye; yes, it gives the whole drink a Halloween-y aspect.
