The warm fall flavors of this Nutty Apple Martini make this the PERFECT fall cocktail!
Happy Thirsty Thursday guys! Today, there’s cause for celebration. It’s the BHK’s two year anniversary! So today we’re treating ourselves and boozin’ it up with my new fall favorite cocktail, The Nutty Apple Martini! Cheers!
Wow, like where the heck did two years go??? It feels like I just started the blog yesterday. Not sure my husband Tom would say the same thing though! I’m not gonna lie, this is one of the toughest jobs I’ve ever had, but absolutely the most personally rewarding. It’s been challenging at times, but I’ve learned so much over the past two years I think I’ve even impressed my boys. For years, I’ve said to my husband Tom that I wish I knew what I wanted to be when I grew up. (Yes, even at my age!) But I’ve finally found the job that I truly LOVE waking up for everyday!
Today’s cocktail, The Nutty Apple Martini was the signature cocktail for last weekend’s dinner party at the BHK. My friends loved it! This martini screams fall! The star of the show here is the Pecan Vodka from my friends at Cathead Distillery in Mississippi. I know, Pecan Vodka! The aromas of the roasted pecans provide the perfect sweetness that combines with the richness of the pecans for a amazing nutty finish. Add some fresh apple cider, a small splash of my favorite ginger liqueur, Domaine de Canton, a crisp apple slice and a cinnamon sugar rim and we’ve got one amazing fall cocktail here! Perfect for a celebration!
And there would be no celebration without you my friends. Each and every one of your comments is appreciated and make the work I do here so incredibly worth it. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ♥ for following along at the BHK! Cheers!
Love….MaryAnn

Thanks Jennifer! You were the first food blogger I contacted when I decided to start my blog! I asked what camera you used because I was so inspired by your photos and recipes! I’ll always remember how quickly you replied back to me and how helpful you were! Seasons and Suppers is still one of my favorite blogs and you continue to inspire me!! Thank you. XO
Mary Ann, congrats on two years! I know exactly what you mean about time flying by on the blog. It seems like yesterday when I hit “publish” on a post about black bean brownies–a post with awful photos taken from my phone, I might add. This martini truly is the perfect way to celebrate. Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
I remember my first post Lisa! My hand was trembling when I clicked PUBLISH! It’s took me a while but now I feel way more relaxed about this whole food blogging gig! Hope you have a wonderful holiday!
Such an interesting idea to prepare the main drink in this Christmas party! And I love that it is a cocktail easy enough that I can make by myself. But I will consider to reduce the amount of Vodka in this. Because I’m often easy to be drunk because of this type of wine.
It’s just delicious Emily. Yes, just adjust the vodka to your liking. Thanks so much for dropping by and leaving a comment. Hope you enjoy! Happy Holidays!
Pecan vodka? Who knew? This sounds like such a delicious drink.
I know! It’s such a great fall/winter cocktail!
Thank you Mary for this amazing recipe. It looks so delicious. I’m definitely going to try this. Wish me best of luck.
Good luck Edna. Hope you enjoy it!
Oh God! this type of drink I’m looking for. Thank you, Thank you so much
Great David! Enjoy!
