This Fall Dark ‘N’ Stormy is a bourbon-based spin on the classic Dark ‘N’ Stormy. Every holiday needs a signature cocktail, and this is it!

What’s a holiday without a signature cocktail?
As promised, today, with the help of my good friends at Powell & Mahoney Craft Cocktail Mixers, I’m sharing a little libation to go alongside our EPIC Cheese Board for the holidays. And since we’re friends, I won’t pass any judgement whatsoever if you choose to start early…like today!
Way, way back in February when I was in Charleston, my favorite city, I had a chance to dine at a fabulous restaurant called the Oak Steakhouse with my son Sean. It’s located on Charleston’s historic Broad Street, and it’s inside a historic bank building that dates back to 1848. The food is totally amazing, and the cocktails are just as fabulous.
I enjoyed a little number called their Broad & Stormy. Think bourbon-based spin on the classic Dark ‘N’ Stormy. I knew I’d have to share this one with you guys, and that I’d have to use my favorite Ginger Beer from Powell & Mahoney.
Their sparkling cocktail mixer is made with all natural ingredients, and it’s my mixer of choice. The only tweak I made to the cocktail was switching out the apple juice for some fall apple cider. It’s garnished with some fresh apples slices and a cinnamon stick. It’s screaming fall, right? This one is perfect for Thanksgiving!
Cheers and enjoy!
