Ingredients You’ll Need
- boneless skinless chicken breasts
- buffalo sauce
- Hidden Valley Ranch Ranch Seasoning packet
- butter

Step-By-Step Instructions
The first step is to add your buffalo sauce to a measuring cup and add the Hidden Valley Ranch Seasoning packet. You’ll whisk together until well combined.
Next, you will add your chicken breasts to your slow cooker and then you’ll pour the sauce over the chicken and top with your three chunks of butter. Cover the slow cooker and set on high for 3 hours or low for 6.
The last step is to remove the chicken breasts from the slow cooker once they are fully cooked and shred. Whisk the sauce in the slow cooker before returning the shredded chicken to the cooker.
Toss the chicken in the sauce until it’s fully coated.

A Few Cook’s Notes for Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken
I use Frank’s Buffalo Sauce for this recipe, but my son Sean like Moore’s. You can use whatever buffalo sauce you prefer.
The chicken will need to register 165 degrees F with a meat thermometer to be fully cooked.
I like to shred my chicken in my stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment. If you don’t have one, by all means use two forks. You could also use a large deep bowl and a hand mixer.
