Jamaican Jerk Seasoning

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
  • 2 tsp. onion powder
  • 2 tsp. dried thyme
  • 2 tsp. dried parsley
  • 2 tsp. granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1/2 tsp. ground allspice
  • 1/2 black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. dried crushed red pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Combine ingredients until well blended. Store in airtight container for up to 3 months. This recipe will yield about 1/2 cup of seasoning,

Notes

I added 1 1/2 teaspoons of cayenne pepper, but if you like things super spicy you can add more.
I like to double this recipe so I have lots on hand for summer grilling. I use it on lots of things and it lasts for up to three months.
