Chocolate Chip Pie

This easy Chocolate Chip Pie is absolutely delectable! It's beyond easy to make and you'll only need a handful of ingredients, most of which I bet you've already got in your fridge and pantry. It's a treat that's delicious served warm topped with some vanilla ice cream!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (one stick) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup pecan halves, roughly chopped
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 frozen deep dish pie crust

Instructions

  • Melt your butter either on the stovetop or in a microwave-safe dish.
  • Add your flour and granulated sugar to a large bowl and mix together with a rubber spatula.
  • Add your melted butter, lightly beaten eggs, vanilla extract, roughly chopped pecans and chocolate chips to the flour mixture and mix until well combined.
  • Pour the mixture into your frozen pie crust, smoothing the top with a rubber or offset spatula. You'll bake the pie at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.

Notes

Not a fan of pecans? Substitute some walnuts instead.
I just use a frozen deep dish pie crust from my local market for this recipe.
